Most business owners didn’t start their company because they wanted to become experts in branding, websites, social media, automation or AI. They started because they were good at something, and believed they could build a business around it.
That’s why I started Calm Water Marketing. To help business owners make sense of the marketing side, focus on what actually matters, and put the right pieces in place to help their business grow...without adding more noise or complexity.
I’ve always loved bringing stories to life.
Whether I was building my own business, helping people buy and sell homes, leading creative and communications, or developing a brand from the ground up, one thing has always been consistent: I love finding the story that matters and figuring out the best way to tell it.
That’s a big part of why I started Calm Water Marketing.
Because good marketing isn't just about having a better website, posting more content or adding another piece of technology. It starts with understanding who you are, what makes your business valuable and why the people you want to reach should care.
Over the years, my work has taken me through business ownership, real estate, brand strategy, creative direction, digital marketing, websites, content, CRM, automation and emerging AI tools. That range of experience has taught me to look beyond any one marketing tactic and see how the pieces work together.
My goal with Calm Water is to help businesses tell their story clearly, build a brand people can connect with, and put the right strategy and systems behind it so they can grow.
